Frimley is a town located in the county of Surrey in the South East of England. It is situated in the east of the borough of Surrey Heath and has a population of around 19,000 people. Frimley has a rich history that dates back to the Middle Ages. The town is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and its name is thought to come from the Old English words “fremm” and “leah,” which mean “a clearing among the ferns.” Over the centuries, Frimley has been home to a number of notable figures, including the 19th-century artist and illustrator Randolph Caldecott, who was born in the town.
